I am moving to Paris in May to learn French and further the capacity of my career. Being less than fluent in French I appreciate that I will have to take a step down from my current management position but this is not a problem, in deed it is more of a challenge.


Currently working as a chalet and hotel manager in the prestigious Austrian holiday resort of St Anton. Managing a team of 10, I am succesfully leading the front line team for a succeful travel company. With over 100 guests arriving and leaving every week, it is a highly demanding and exciting role that continually tests my managerial and hospitality experience whilst utilising my customer service excellence to its fullest capacity.

Travel and Hospitality

Chalet/Hotel Manager – December 2007 – Present
St Anton, Austria

A demanding and exciting role in the prestigious resort of St Anton, I am the sole manager of 3 chalets and a 70 person B & B operating in its 1st year. All aspects of the holiday experience are under my management as well as all in resort staff.

• Responsible for the smooth running of 3 chalets and a 70 person B&B
• All Resort budgeting, in excess of €1000 per week
• As manager I am the point for all customer and staff complaints
• Responsible for all suppliers, tradesmen and chalet owners.

Resort Assistant – November 2005-May 2006
Meribel, France

• Represented **** ski and formed sound working relationships in resort
• As part of a small team ran a luxury chalet
• brought and budgeted food on a weekly basis and dines with guests on a daily basis
• Arranged lift passes, aprθs-ski, transport and in resort services

Resort Assistant/Chalet host – November 2004-May 2005

• First point of contact for guests
• Designed and pitched content ideas for brochures, website, and staff handbooks
• Wrote Copy for website. Interviewed and networked with local business’
• Obtained deals, offers and discounts for guests from restaurants, bars and shops

• Researched and compiled detailed reports and copy for websites; set metatags; edited and update websites using Dreamweaver
• Complied press releases, leaflets and brochures as well as composing new marketing and advertising ideas.
• Photoshop and FlashMX to create and edit photos and text for travelling photographic exhibition
