Married Couple Seeks Apartment for Academic Year 2008-2009

We are a married couple moving to Paris to teach as part of the French Government’s English Teaching Assistants program. We are looking for a moderately sized one-bedroom apartment or a large studio apartment (nothing less than 30 square meters) for the academic year, beginning in early September and running until May 30. The apartment must be furnished, be relatively convenient to an RER line (preferably the ones that run west), and include a washer/dryer. Obviously, use of TV/WIFI/Telephone service, a balcony, modern kitchen/bathroom and central location are preferred.

We are clean, quiet, respectful non-smokers who will take good care of your furnishings for the length of our stay. We are looking for something in the 600 euro/month range, but may be willing to pay up to 800 euro/month depending upon the location and amenities. We are also willing to perform house-sitting duties in exchange for reduced rent.
