This is a truly charming house that has some lovely features inside and out. It is only 5 minutes from the lively town of Lussac-les-Chateaux where there are all the shops and services that you need.

On the ground floor there is a large fitted kitchen/dining room (22mē) with tiled floor, which has, off to one side, a pantry (6mē) leading to a wine cellar. There is a large living/dining room (50mē) which has 2 beautiful stone fireplaces, a floor tiled with old ‘tomettes’ and stone, the old stone sink and exposed beams – this is a gorgeous room, and full of light. Also on the ground floor is a room used as an office and laundry room (8mē) and a toilet. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (11,12 and 30mē), the largest of which has magnificent exposed beams and a lovely parquet floor, there is a bathroom (6.5mē) (bath, 2 basins) and then attic space (11mē) that has been insulated and houses a toilet, but which could be fully converted for extra space if required. Attached to the back of the property is a large outbuilding that houses the boiler in one room (14mē) and then has a further room that leads onto the garden that the current owners use as a store room and summer kitchen (30mē). There is a large garden of around 1500mē and also further outbuildings in the grounds – a barn (50mē), attached to this 2 old stables and an old bread oven, which is intact. This is a really lovely house which has been beautifully renovated and has some outstanding original features.
