Chateau Ventenac offers self catering holiday accommodation in a beautiful setting right alongside the Canal du Midi. Part of this 19th century stone castle has recently been restored and is now available for self catering holidays for up to 14 people, during the summer months.
The rest of the year we offer for Bed & Breakfast, holiday courses and activity weeks as well as corporate events.
The period style en-suite bedrooms and beautiful terraced gardens all have wonderful views over the vineyards to the hills of the Corbières and the Pyrenees beyond.
Whether you are looking for a unique self-catering holiday accommodation in the sun, a bed and breakfast stop on your way to Italy or Spain, or a base from which to explore the region, Château Ventenac is ideal.
Our regular holiday courses include painting, French cookery, Cathar history, and wine tasting
We can customise holiday courses to suit the needs of particular groups, and we also cater for corporate events such as team away days, executive business planning sessions and training.
The gardens have a large swimming pool and plenty of shady spaces for you to relax, whether swinging gently in a hammock or sitting watching the boats on the canal while enjoying a glass of the local Minervois wine.
